HIGHLIGHTS

BOYS Teams: The competition for US#3 Southlake Carroll TX was almost non-existent, as they scored 19 points, averaging 15:27.56, to roll over the huge 64-team field. Carroll’s “B” team, in fact, was sixth overall. Bentonville AR was second with 115 and Plano West TX third with 135.

BOYS Indiv.: After an off-race at Nike South while recovering from an ear infection, Carroll sr Joe Sansone was back on his game and triumphed in 15:06.0, followed by teammates Nate Sullivan(15:19.4), Trevor Gilley (15:26.1), and Connor Hendrickson (15:27.7). The first non-Carroll finisher was Bentonville’s Shiohira Jacob in 15:30.1.

GIRLS Teams: Southlake Carroll’s dominance was overwhelming here, too, as the US#15/SO#2 squad scored 22 in a 54-team field and saw their “B” team take second with 170. Ladue Horton Watkins MO won a tight battle for third with 183. SO#10 Rogers AR was sixth with 193.

GIRLS Indiv.: Carroll had a 1-2 finish, with Courtney Krieghauser (17:55.1) winning andAntigone Archer second (18:00.7), the latter just edging Clinton MS’s Nicole Lee (18:00.9).
